Pottery Care 101
My pottery is made of stoneware which makes it dishwasher, microwave and oven friendly. Here are some helpful hints on how to care for your pottery.
~ Do not transfer from extreme cold environments to extreme hot environments. For example, don’t take a dish that was in the refrigerator and place it directly into a hot oven. It is best to place the room temperature bakers in a cool oven and let is warm up with the food. Items are oven safe to around 350-375 degrees.
~ Hand washing is best for the longevity of the piece but top rack dishwashing is ok.
~ Never place on a hot element, over an open flame, or on the grill.

Butter Keeper
- Pack a softened stick of butter densely into top ensuring there are no air pockets
- Put small amount of water in bottom & a pinch of salt (around ¼ C – enough to seal the top when it is inserted.) You may also use ice cubes in water to help butter stay cool.
